Jason Turner was named Vice President – Talent and Growth Initiatives for ArcBest in July 2016. In this role he leads functions related to recruiting, developing and retaining the right talent in the right jobs.
Jason began his career at ArcBest in 2009 as President of the Albert Companies, an ArcBest subsidiary, where he lead Albert’s moving and storage brands. He then served from January 2015 to July 2016 as Chief Operating Officer of ABF Logistics®, an ArcBest® company.
Before joining ArcBest, Jason held several leadership positions in manufacturing and utilities leading numerous quality and change management initiatives. He has also served on several trade association boards and committees and with nonprofit organizations.
Jason earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in business administration from North Texas University.
Jason will be speaking on what it is to go from success to significance.
In the world of business there is high value placed on achieving “success”. However, many that have attained a measure of success don’t find the satisfaction that was expected. Jason will discuss how reframing the target from “success” to “significance” may help solve the riddle of contentment that so many business leaders face.
